Recognizing the importance of security for wireless users, Jungo's Wireless
Security solution integrates multiple layers of security. These include the
IEEE 802.1x
port based authentication protocol, RADIUS Client, EAP-MD5, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS,
EAP-PEAP, Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), Firewall and VPN
applications. In addition, a built-in authentication server enables
home/SOHO users to define authorized wireless users without the need for an
external RADIUS server.
A Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall can isolate the wireless LAN from the rest of the network and provide granular authorization capabilities to ensure that only authorized users access sensitive resources. IPSec or PPTP VPN modules can also be used to encrypt IP traffic between the access point and a LAN terminal.
