Does WinDriver support development for PCMCIA devices? |
Starting from version 6.22, WinDriver supports PCMCIA on Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003. In earlier versions, you can use WinDriver to develop a driver for a PCMCIA card by defining the card's resources manually and handling the card as a regular ISA card. [Plug and Play detection of the card's resources is not supported for PCMCIA, in v5.04-v6.21 of WinDriver]. Alternatively, consider replacing your PCMCIA hardware with a CardBus card (recommended) - see Technical Document #94 for information regarding WinDriver's support for CardBus. Back to Top |
