firmware is issued by manufactures. The DFU driver is designed so that any class of

USB DFU Background
With the rapid pace of hardware development and design, manufacturers require a method
of deploying enhanced firmware on existing USB devices. The
USB DFU driver has been designed
specifically for this task.
The DFU has been standardized by the USB Implementers Forum
(USB-IF) to provide manufacturers with a certified mechanism to upgrade the firmware on
